DESCRIPTION:

Handcraft Furnishings was a small, independent cabinet making and design business based in Tubbercurry, County Sligo, which offered custom designed bespoke furniture and solid wood kitchens.

The initial brief to Zetagram* by the client was to design cut-vinyl vehicle graphics for a new van purchased by the business.

As part of the process, Zetagram created a simple logo design for the van which was later developed into a larger corporate identity for the business.

The logo motif design featured a wood shaving in gold with the symbol of a hand, and a logotype created from two carefully selected display fonts. This was arranged to work using the white background of the van for economical production.

To present the face of the business to the public, other signage solutions were designed to work with the van, such as roadside advertising and directional signage, pavement advertising and pitch-side sponsorship advertising.

Marketing materials to promote the business offline, such as business cards, brochures and specialist interiors magazine advertising were designed, with written brochure copy and location photography by Zetagram.

For online promotion, over the years Zetagram has developed different versions of the website as the business has grown and the amount of content increased.

The latest website design was a multi-page XHTML framework, planned and copywritten (text) by Zetagram, and used gallery photography from mixed sources, including photographers, camera phone shots and Zetagram location photography.
