Sensiem Acupuncture was a small, independent start-up acupuncture business based in Claremorris, County Mayo, which provided specialist services for fertility, pain relief and health & beauty at their holistic acupuncture clinic in the heart of Mayo.
The initial brief to Zetagram* by the client was to consult and assist in the preliminary development of marketing materials for the new business starting in an already competitive area.
After client consultation, competitor research and analysis, it was suggested by Zetagram that the business have a more approachable and unique name to encourage enquiries and set the business apart from the local competition
After presenting a range of brand name suggestions with available dotCom and dotIE domain names, the client selected the unique name Sensiem, sourced from the words 'sensitive' and 'empathy'.
Having noted a preference by the client of lotus flower imagery, Zetagram developed a new logo flower design positioned away from the local competitors, using graphic and geometric lines, soft and warm colour tones.
The logotype was designed using a modern and approachable font, and combined in portrait (stacked) and landscape (horizontal) formats for flexible application.
The design was demonstrated to the client by applying to clothing, towels and signage, and later combined with retouched stock photography and copy-written information to create advertising posters and promotional flyer postcards.
The website was planned and written by Zetagram, and designed and built responsively in HTML5 using carefully sourced stock photography with additional photography by Zetagram.
